  • Gratitude is appreciation.
  • Gratitude is a perspective of abundance.
  • Gratitude is essential.

On this page, I share grateful thoughts and notes about people and events that have made a positive difference in my life. I deeply value their support.

This is a simple gratitude nook with no strings attached. It isn’t about what anyone might do for me in the future, nor is it a paid testimonial. It is heartfelt and sincere, for all the good that has touched my life.

Subbu aka Subramanian MLN

Gratitude is both powerful and essential.

So often, we say thanks to people we barely know — the stranger who helps lift a suitcase onto the train, the person who holds a door open for us, or the server who brings our meal with a smile. Each small act leaves a feel-good mark.

But we often forget to thank the people who support us consistently and remain mostly in the background — the quiet pillars of encouragement, the smooth facilitators of crucial day-to-day operations, the ones we can, and often do, take for granted.

Subramanian MLN aka Subbu has been all heart for Chennaigaga® from the very first day of the brand’s launch way back in March, 2010. He was a willing and happy model for us, sporting Chennaigaga® T-shirts, and he did so on many occasions, providing us with much content for social media. It was a testimonial he came forward to give, unconditionally.

Later, in his professional life, he entered the retail industry, working to enhance the marketing and sales strategies of notable brands and soon launched his own consulting firm called Purple Chalk. http://purplechalk.in
Chennaigaga® has benefitted a lot from his expertise. He set up the website framework, generously dished out inputs that worked, and uplifted the digital reach for us. He’s a quiet force in action, and is probably the digital marketing expert of your dreams! (And mine, of course)

He combines online retail knowhow with an eye for detail and deep insight into customer behaviour. His knowledge of the trends and shifts in online marketing dynamics is deep and discerning. Subbu has an enviable portfolio, having worked with many noteworthy brands and improved both their online reach and revenue, as well as the revenue of their physical stores.

This post is my public note of gratitude to him for always being encouraging and looking only onward and upward regardless of Herculean challenges. Subbu suggests baby steps to move the needle and carves an action plan that has a large long-term vision and he also ensures it does not overwhelm his clients in the short run.

I wish Subbu all the very best in his endeavours today and always!

Gratitude for Yash, who makes challenges feel lighter.

Yash Jain

About a decade ago, when Chennaigaga was a physical retail store near the Music Academy signal, I was introduced to a youngster named Yash Jain.

Fresh out of college, he surprised me with his sharp knowledge of websites, domains, servers, and even hardware, and what stood out instantly was his positive, can-do attitude. In fact, he directly asked me whether I was going to give him the project of transforming Chennaigaga’s website into an e-commerce store… or not! My gut said yes, and I’ve not regretted that decision.

From that first meeting, I remember his quick speech and quicker thoughts (I often asked him to slow down 😄). But what impressed me most, was how he never dwells on roadblocks. If he can solve it, he will. If he cannot, he researches until he finds a way.

Since then, Yash has been my absolute go-to person for day-to-day tech, design, and website management support — always respectful, considerate, and ready to step up when needed. I’ve seen him grow from an enthusiastic young professional into the founder of Grow Online (👉 growonline.in), building a team that mirrors his helping attitude.

He is a trusted professional I bank on to deliver the support needed for several key projects: diligently keeping in line with Chennaigaga’s requirements and backing us in our striving for perfection, always with his trademark positivity.

And to this day, whenever I call him with an urgent issue, his calm response is: “Relax, Ma’am.” (To which I always reply: “I’m relaxed only!” After all, my go-to person has responded.) That calmness, combined with his troubleshooting skills, ensures the issue gets resolved.

At Grow Online, Yash and his team manage everything from website builds to revamps and maintenance, marketing, and digital strategy, always living his personal mantra: “Always look for ways to help others grow.”

This post is my heartfelt thank-you to Yash, for his unwavering support since 2016, for being there through the pandemic and beyond, as Chennaigaga® transitioned to  wholly-online store, and for always bringing positive energy to every challenge.

Best wishes always, Yash — may all your dreams come true. 🌟
